Kultju Aboriginal Corporation represents the voice, culture, and interests of the Kultju people, the Traditional Owners of lands in Central Australia. Guided by our Elders and grounded in deep cultural knowledge, we are committed to protecting heritage, supporting our community, and building a strong, self-determined future.
Our mission is to preserve Aboriginal culture and connection to Country through active heritage protection, cultural awareness, and community development. Through our Heritage Surveys, we work with Traditional Owners to identify, document, and safeguard sacred sites. This ensures that any development on our land respects cultural values and Aboriginal law.
The Elders Committee plays a vital role in our governance and decision-making. Their wisdom and leadership ensure our work reflects traditional customs and supports the preservation of language, lore, and cultural identity. They are instrumental in mentoring youth and guiding the next generation.
Our RCM services ensure that essential operations and infrastructure in our community are well-managed and culturally appropriate. We work closely with government and service providers to deliver housing, maintenance, and local development programs that meet the needs of our people.
We are deeply committed to creating employment opportunities for Kultju members. Through job training, mentoring, and skill-building, we empower individuals to participate in meaningful work that benefits both themselves and the wider community. Our support extends to Kultju Artists, whose cultural works and Dreaming stories are shared through traditional and contemporary art.
Kultju Aboriginal Corporation also promotes and endorses local businesses that operate with integrity and cultural respect. These partnerships help grow the local economy and support sustainable, community-led enterprise.
Through Cultural Awareness initiatives, we engage with non-Indigenous communities, schools, and organisations to build understanding and respect for Aboriginal culture. These efforts foster stronger relationships and encourage inclusive, respectful engagement across cultures.
At Kultju Aboriginal Corporation, we honour our past, serve our present, and build for the future. Every step we take is rooted in culture, connection, and community.
