Description: This artwork represents the old travelling pathways of Tjupan people — the lines that connect waterholes, camps, and Dreaming places across wide Country. These pathways were walked by the Old People long before roads or boundaries existed, carrying stories, ceremony, kinship connections and law.

The strong white and gold pathway in the centre symbolises the main travelling line — a lifeline across Country. It shows the movement of families following water, food, the seasons, and cultural obligations.

The large circles represent important stopping places: meeting grounds, soaks, rock holes, and places for gathering. The smaller circles and dot clusters show the footprints of people travelling together, leaving knowledge behind for the next generation.

The surrounding dot-work shows different types of Country — rocky ground, spinifex, sand plains, and the cracked earth after rain. Each pattern reflects the way the Old People knew the land, reading its shapes, its stories, and its signs.

This painting is a tribute to Tjupan ancestors and the pathways they walked — pathways that still remain in spirit, guiding our connection to Country and each other.
